Family Author Night at the Swanton Public Library – Featuring Jeff & Brooke Pawlecki of Serendipity Gardens Farm

In March 2025, families gathered at the Swanton Public Library for a special evening celebrating storytelling, courage, and connection at Family Author Night with Jeff and Brooke Pawlecki of Serendipity Gardens Farm.

The event featured Jeff’s latest children’s book,Farmhouse Adventures with Friends: A Heartwarming Tale About Friendship and Courage,available now on Kindle here.

This delightful story follows Jeff and his lively animal companions—Daisy the loyal German Shepherd, Penelope the spirited pig, and Sven the fearless emu—as they explore farm life and learn powerful lessons about bravery, friendship, and facing fears head-on.

Children listened as Jeff read aloud from the book, and families enjoyed a behind-the-scenes look into the real-life inspiration behind the characters—straight from the farm at Serendipity Gardens. Brooke joined Jeff to talk about their work on the farm, their creative process, and what’s next for the story series.

The evening was filled with laughter, learning, and heartwarming moments as kids connected with the characters and asked questions about farm animals, writing books, and life on a real working farm.
